No universal service life
Film type, colour, vertical or horizontal exposure, substrate, climate, UV exposure, fresh or salt water, cleaning and installation all affect durability. Manufacturer figures must be checked for the exact product and application; vehicle-film figures cannot automatically be applied to every yacht surface.
Service life, statutory rights and guarantees
An expected service life is different from a voluntary guarantee and from statutory defect rights. We do not give a blanket ten-year durability guarantee through this website. Any product or project guarantee must identify the guarantor, scope, period, conditions and claims procedure separately. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Care and inspection
Follow the care instructions for the installed film. Use compatible cleaning methods and inspect edges and stressed areas regularly. Cracks, lifting or surface damage require individual assessment. Care cannot guarantee a fixed extension of service life.
